Jon Rickaby

Jon Rickaby has been painting for a span of over 30 years. He spent much of his youth enjoying nature at the family cottage in northern Wisconsin. He has a deep appreciation for the natural world. His love for wildlife is what pushes him to excel in the field of nature art bringing realism to his art. His hope is that he can convey his time in nature to the viewer, allowing them to experience the natural world as he does, through his art. Jon lives with his wife and 2 children in Suamico, Wi.
To date, Jon has won 5 Wisconsin Conservation Stamps. He has won the 2007 Wisconsin Pheasant Stamp. He has also won the 2012 Wisconsin Waterfowl and Pheasant Stamp in the same year. In 2014, the Wisconsin Inland Trout Stamp.  And recently, Jon won the 2019 Wisconsin Waterfowl Stamp Competition.
For Jon, winning a habitat stamp competition is a very special honor. He believes it is critical that we continue to fund and preserve wildlife and wildlife habitat for the future through stamp revenues.

Ryan Rickaby

Ryan has been Painting for about 10 years. At a young age he started fishing, and drawing and now has started combining the 2 together.

At the young age of 22, he's just starting his painting career and was able to take home both Wisconsin Trout Stamp wins in 2018, and his artwork has also graced the cover of Musky Hunter magazine.

Ryan hopes his Artwork will bring people to a happy place. He also feels very strong about supporting conservation of all wildlife species. There are endless opportunities in art and he hopes to expand upon his skills in the future.
